A few weeks ago I convinced a client at work to be a little kooky and eclectic and add these beautiful trims to her custom made cushions. The 45cm x 80cm size is even a little kooky too. 

I'm hoping her and her sofa like them as much as I do!

Dreaming of a sleepy Saturday...

Meet my beautiful bed... We have a love hate relationship, I think the love bit is obvious, it's just as comfortable as it is beautiful. The hate part comes in the morning when it's cold, dark and rainy outside and the last thing i want to do is climb out.  Unfortunately this morning was one of them!

So where have I come across all the things that adorn my bed?

•  I recently purchased the indian throw quilt at the end of the bed for about $40 dollars off Etsy.  
• The white quilt is classic Laura Ashley
• The 3 back throw cushions all come from the beautiful shop I work in called 'No Chintz'
• The centre cushion is a random find at a sale
• The bed head was made by me and is covered in 'Awning Stripe', col. Acid Yellow

If anyone approves of my new throw it's definitely Bert!

AWNING LOVE

A few months ago 'The Corner Shop' on William St. definitely grabbed my attention with this stunning Missoni awning. I'm loving awnings at the moment, I've always dreamt of living in a corner terrace with a lovely awning over my front door.  

Shall we enjoy this glorious Sydney weather and keep dreaming of awnings? I think so
