Shop X-mas windows that inspire me...

ONE Sleep till Santa comes....

I've just been poppin' around Sydney town enjoying life and snapping inspiring shop windows along the way.  It really is that time of the year when shop keepers/companies think outside the box to depict their Chrissie spirit.
The ones that I admire most are the one's that you appreciate from a distance, then when you go up closer they have actually been created using recycled materials or unexpected everyday objects. It goes to show you don't need to spend copious amounts of money to create something special.

The third photo from the top posted above is just pink, green and orange plastic strainers most likely found in a $2 shop, who would have thought that essentially an item of 'junk' could be used to create such a happy and pretty window display... I certainly wouldn't? But here I am posting about it so I definitely do approve.
I also have to make mention of the first picture posted above which is created using hanging shoe boxes with ribbon glued to the bottom spelling the words 'Love to Give'. The christmas tree is just ribbon tied to a hoop at the bottom and just bunched at the top. I first admired this window as I was driving past, it wasn't until I got out of my car to have a closer a look that I realised how economically yet effectively this window was done. Sambag always hit the jack pot!

Hope you enjoy these windows as much as I did!
